And Then There Were Eight

It started in the middle of the Monaco afternoon, the first of Isanath and Marzoth's eggs making an easy and quick appearance and starting a process that would take nearly 8 hours to conclude. One sticky moment saw to eggs emerge almost simultaneously, both rather oddly shaped, but by the time the watchers in the galleries gave up and wandered off to do other things there were 7 eggs nestled on the sands. Time passed and then one more egg made a secretive appearance taking the total to eight. Isanath seems to be rather attached to this last one, though there is nothing about it that outwardly marks it as special, and the gold herself insists there is not a gold amongst the clutch. Perhaps it's destined for something else.
