Playtime in the Southern Clearing

Southern Clearing

N'andi exits from her - and her weyrmate's - hut slowly, having opened the doors for a fast crawling little boy, ever ready to pick him up, hovering a safe distance behind. Daren - the little boy - scoots out farther from the hut, heading towards E'in.

E'in isn't exactly the kind of guy that mothers want their kids running towards. Running away from, maybe. At the moment, though, E is just now leaving the feeding grounds, shaking his head in dismay. "Fardles, but their stock is poor! Igen's is /much/ better. I'll have to make sure Da doesn't import from here." Pause. "O'course, the flight probably wiped out the best stock.. Kal always has had a taste for the best when it comes to the 'beasts, eyup. No doubt 'e gets it from me."

N'andi manages to catch these words as Daren giggles in that 9 month old cute way, nearly at the bronze rider's feet by this point. "Excuse me? Our stock here is just fine!" At that point a green head pops out from the hut - a rather large one - and the rest of the jade body with silver speckles follows, curling her tail around to intercept Daren's path. Big nanny, yes? The rider then eyes E'in. "You're the one who flew Riya's Isisth, aren't you?" Run E'in, run, you're giving this Weyrlingmaster work to do!

E'in frowns, crossing his arms over his chest and giving N'andi the once-over. "Hm. Excuse me, then. I'm just used to the spectacular quality that we produce back at Igen. I was a herder all my life 'for I 'pressed Kallie, and my Da's the head herder." The Weyrlingmaster is eyed again. "And I think you'd understand that I didn't fly Isisth—Kal did. I don't have any wings, y'know, and those are rather vital when it comes to flight."

N'andi waves her hand in a dismissal to that small repremand as Tinkith draws her tail in to keep Daren away from E'in, the small child pulling himself up on Tinkith's tail. "You know what I meant. And our stock here is perfectly fine. No thanks to the flight and wiping out some of the best ones." She says somewhat crossly, going to pick up her squirming son in her arms. "And thanks to you, I'll have to find a sitter for my child while I go out on Search!"

E'in yawns, more than used to irritated greenriders. "Aw, hush. It's what you get paid for. Earn yer keep. And it's not like I could really *stop* Kal from participatin' in that flight." He shakes his head with a dramatic sigh. "Believe me, I tried. There's just no talkin' to that good-fer-nothin' dragon. And, y'know," Rider sniffs arrogantly, gaze traveling to the captured child. "You really should keep better tabs on your kidlets. Can't have 'em runnin' loose like a wild wherry."

If N'andi bristles, this would be her doing it as E'in insults her parenting skills. "I /DO/ watch my child, thankyouverymuch! I just give him more area to roam then keeping him restrained to a tiny little area where he can hardly do anything!" Well, Daren does look a trifle healthier - and skinnier - than most others his age. "He has /yet/ to get himself in trouble." Of course he has minor scrapes now and then, but that's natural.

E'in blinks, innocent as ever. "Oh? Then how come your /dragon/ has to rescue him from escaping to the feeding grounds and potentially dangerous wingleaders? I have a very low tolerance level for bratling children, you know." His gaze returns to Daren. "Another good thing about being up here. Even if the livestock isn't of the best quality, I don't have to watch Blythe's weyrbrats or put up with Runners' nagging." He actually grins. Yes; escaping from Veia makes it all worth while.

Tabeth glides down to a gentle landing.

Tabeth has arrived.

N'andi looks at E'in, her eyes narrowing now as she watches the man, gently settling Daren into her arms to stop him from squirming as much. "Oh. So you came down here merely to escape duties and people you'd have to see normally?" She snaps, Tinkith looking up at this point in time to bugle a hello to Tabeth.

Sorchayth lumbers into the southern clearing, from the main clearing.

Sorchayth has arrived.

Veia quickly dismounts, dropping from Sorchayth's neck.

Veia has arrived.

Tabeth circles above the clearing several times before Adelle gives her the signal to land, which she does with a warble to the resident green. The goldrider jerks off her helmet and lands on the ground with a thump, her face suddenly looking disgusted at the presence of the bronzerider even as Tabeth looks about expectantly for his bronze.

Adelle swings down from Tabeth's neck.

Adelle has arrived.

Vorshnath glides down to a gentle landing.

Vorshnath has arrived.

E'in shrugs. "Not particularly, but it sure is a good perk." The roguish grin returns. "Actually, I came up here to see Espera ma'am, since I 'aven't seen 'er since the hatchin' when she impressed that one gold." Pause. "I can't remember 'er name, don't s'pose it's of much importance, anyway." He brightens at the sight of Adelle. "Ah, Lady! I knew you'd miss me."

K'loh swings down from Vorshnath's neck.

K'loh has arrived.

Sorchayth gives an audible warble in her entrance, planting her feet firmly on the ground with her head swinging around to make sure that a bronze still follows. However, she is more interested on looking for another, her body soon shifting to allow her lifemate to dismount. Veia drops to the ground, a bright grin stretching upon her face towards the sight of E'in. She gives the Eastern rider a dip of her head, a glance towards the other goldrider who she can't place a name on before she announces, "Igen's duties to you," and approaches greenrider and the bronzer.

Adelle rolls her blue eyes skyward as if she were searching for patience and Tabeth bugles happily to the approaching bronzes, much to Adelle's great disgust. "I was merely coming to see my sister." she informs E'in primly, loosening the harness quickly. "High Reaches duties to you all" she calls politely to all those gathered, finally remembering her manners.

N'andi sniffs to E'in in a distainful way, turnning her attention to the other, nine month old son burbling in her arms as she nods her head with a little grin. "Eastern's duties to you all." She murmurs before turning back to E'in. "I should just ask Lonriya to boot you back to where you belong! You're attitude is not welcome." She comments, starting to lean back on her dragon who seems content to lounge by the side of the hut they reside in.

Vorshnath makes a rather swift landing next to the Igen gold, K'loh jumping off in an instant and staying silent. After all, Igen duties have already been given, so he has little to say. He simply shakes his head in semi-sadness- E'in goes to another Weyr, and is rude there, as well! Depressing, really.

Justin walks into the southern clearing, from the main clearing.

Justin has arrived.

Justin is heading to the stables, honest. :)

Manners? What are these.. 'Manners'? "Aw, shardit!" Alas, Kal is not close enough for E'in to hide behind, so he must face Veia and K'loh alone. Dun dun dun. 'Fore mentioned duo is eyed. "What are you wherries doin' here, eh?" He does seem much more pleased by N'andi's remark. "Ah, well, I'd be quite ready and willin' to return home where they have good food and dragon fodder instead of the sorry slop they serve here, but, y'see, Kallie has to stay here, the golds and greens rather like 'im here, anyway, and, as I mentioned earlier, you need wings to fly and I'm grounded." Kalerriarth bugles cheerfully to those assembled, especially his comrades from Igen.

Adelle sniffs at the bronzerider "You are rude here, rude at High Reaches…do you ever act human anywhere?" she asks innocently, no malice in her voice at all as Tabeth curls up in the warm Southern sunshine.

Veia stiffens towards N'andi, her night eyes bright as she listens to her words. "Oh, come now , greenrider. I am sure that E'in isn't causing too much trouble here." Hopefully. She gives the bronzerider a glare, soon taking a step back so she may stand beside the other Igen bronzer. She waggles a finger towards E'in quietly, turning her eyes back towards her queen. "We would be happy to give you a lift, anyways, E. A tunnelsnake like you is needed to care for Blythe's children you know. I came here to make sure that what I heard of is true, and you are out of our sights for plenty of time." Time to repair the Weyr. "But of course, I could always bring one of the two children for you, here."

Justin pauses, basically freezing in his trek as he spots dragons, very big shiny dragons. Ahem. The freakish youth will stay a safe distance, to scope out the situation for now. The stables can wait, for a little while, anyway. No words escape the feminine young man, maybe nobody will notice him.

K'loh nods in agreement with Veia, grinning almost wickedly at her words to his fellow bronzerider. "Oh, yes, such a thing could definitely be arranged without a problem. I'm sure they'd love to See you. And you, them, right, E'in?" He gives him an innocent smile before informing Adelle with a quick shake of his head, "Act human? E'in? Shells, no."

Bristle, bristle. N'andi fully glares at E'in before shoving him out of her mind to the greatest degree she can, turning to Veia and Adelle. Females. Mostly safe territory. Tinkith rumbles lightly, slipping out from under her riders weight as easily as she shrugs off a bug, moving into a warm splotch of sunlight to stretch out in. "I don't think he can be, dear goldrider." Is said to Adelle before turning to Veia. "Oh, I don't know how much trouble he's causing. But he's doing Eastern's pride damage!" And we can't have that, now can we? "And frankly ma'am," She adds with a small bob of her head. "I don't like it one little bit."

E'in idly scratches his neck. "I've never talked to you at High Reaches, Nag," Ah! You've just been inducted into the Stupid-Nickname-From-E'in Club. "So such your trap." Veia is smiled at ever so sweetly. "Aw, now, Runners, y'know that's not necessary. Kal adores me, y'know.." Frown. "I don't know why." Ahem. "..and I don't think he'd want to be in a completely different Weyr. Who would tak ehim to the Yoko every day? Who would check and make sure his tail is still attached?" Kal, while not exactly on the best terms with Sorcha, a trifle upset at Vor for flirting with *his* m'lady dear, and a stranger to Tinkith, has no such problems with Tabeth. « I'm glad to see you back. Mine did not think that you would return. »

Susia walks into the southern clearing, from the main clearing.

Susia has arrived.

Adelle almost visibly puffs up "You may have not talked to me but you certainly offended a greenrider in my weyr!" she huffs and swells even more "Did you just call me Nag!" Sputtering with indignitation she mutters under her breath for a few moments while Tabeth tilts her head at Kalerriarth coyly « Mine comes to see her sister but Grummith isn't here. I wanted to see you again but mine wishes to never see yours again. »

Justin glances between bronzeriders, and goldriders, and greenrider. Man. He also glances around, maybe to find someplace to hide to watch. You know, cover just in case sparks fly?

Susia slips into the the clearing, drawn by the noise of people. Appearing just in time to here Adelle, she blinks, quickly stepping backwards. Now would be the time to run, right? Glancing back and forth between the various riders, she just blinks. Not even going to ask. Just nod your head and be quiet.

Sorchayth is leering over towards Kalerriarth, her eyes whirling a more interesting hue as the bronze.. ignores her? Veia heaves a sigh, crossing her arms carefully against her chest and giving E'in a stiff glare. She isn't about to get rid of him yet. "So you come here after Blythe leaves, just to attempt to get away from the duties that she left you? Really, and I thought you were a splendid Wingleader, E. I can't believe that you will refuse to have one of those… kidlets brought here so your bronze might be happy. You say him play with them, right?" She gives N'andi a quick warm smile, her head dipping down. "I would advise you to attach everything to the ground and hide your valuables. You don't know much of what this bronzerider can do." The Igen queen shifts, approaching the bronze even more. « Enjoying yourself, of course, Kal? »

Tinkith's head perks up at a mentioned name, the green and her rider looking towards Adelle and Tabeth. « Grummith? That flirt? » N'andi almost ponders going back into her hut, but she isn't about to play the bad 'hostess', seeing as how she should probably be civil and be nice around now. Sigh? « How in the earthly are you related? » The green croons softly in wonderment, she's had her experiences with him. Flirting sessions in fact. "Well, I'd hate to break into the arguement," Which she may have started… "but how about we all move this into the commons? Where we can relax and.." And what? Throw food at eachother like children? "And have something to drink." The green takes the hint from her rider, gently inserting herself into the other's minds, her mindvoice tinkling with laughter in it's usual way. « Come. There's warm ledges in the main clearing to settle all of this on… » N'andi then looks behind her to spot Justin and Susia. People. People are good. "You two!" She calls out to them. "Are you busy?" If not, be servents.. yes?

K'loh arches one eyebrow as Veia brings up the topic of E'in's wing. "Who's in charge of your wing, anyway, E'in? Who's your Wingsecond?" Beware, or he might bias this unknown Wingsecond against E'in. That could be fun! "…Drink?"

Susia glances at N'andi, as she hears a summons. Darn, she was discovered, she can't run away now. Glancing at Justin for a moment, she slowly pivots back towards the green rider. "Um… I guess not, N'andi?"

Kalerriarth sagely nods his head. « Aye. Usually they want to come visit me but they don't want Mine included in the visit. » He swivels his head to whuff at his rider. « I do not know why. He's simply perfect in every way. » "Shuddap, Kal," E'in hisses with a frown. "Of course people like to see me." Now, back to Adelle. "What'samatter, Nag? Can't figure out that it's not /your/ Weyr, it's Kayla ma'am's? And it's not *my* fault that the stupid greenrider wouldn't do my portrait." « Greenriders aren't stupid. » "Well, this one was." Grr. "And I did not, Runners, an' you know it. /Kal/ dragged me here and so, like the rest of the more capable leaders in Igen, *I'm* getting a vacation." So there. "And Kal will have brats of his own to watch before too long." Kal croons softly towards Sorchayth before dipping his head. « Yes. It's quite a change here, although Mine is greatly disappointed in the herdbeasts. » He adds— quietly of course, so E won't hear, « I really cannot see or taste that much difference. » "Aye, that sounds wonderful, Weyrlingmaster. The first intelligent idea you've had all day!"

Justin freezes even more stalk-still as he's addressed. "Umm.." Wise answer, no?

Tabeth rests her head on a golden forearm and her eyes train onto the single green « Mine and Grummith's are related..they are siblings. » Adelle is flushed with barely contained anger and is glaring with such ferocity at E'in that the boy really should be bursting into flames about now. Arms crossed over her chest she stamps a foot "Kayla is senior at High Reaches but it is my home weyr and the other weyrlings are under my juristiction." Tabeth seems almost amused at her riders great anger and sends to Kalerriarth « My complements, nobody has ever made mine this angry before. »

Kalerriarth is nearly glowing with pride. « Thank you. He's quite good at it, you know. Practices every day. » Beam.

Veia smiles kindly back towards the Eastern greenrider, her head dipping down though tilted to give E'in a quick look. "Well, it seems that your bronze there was smart enough to take you out of the Weyr right when the Senior pair left." Or else he would have had to live with her own arguments and punishments finally. Sorchayth simply looks relieved, her head lifted up. « And while you are here Kalerriarth, you are not to return to Igen, are you? Mine says that is very good, actually. » As well as for this young queen as well. As long as she is around here, she isn't about to go E'in disrespecting her. "And E'in, it's Veia. Not Runners around here, or else you might just get the riders of the Weyr confused. I should at least be able to keep my name around here. Unlike Igen, /we/ are all guests." Once again the greenrider comes into her eyesight. "A drink would be perfect really."

Hiiissssss. N'andi turns her back to E'in, smiling towards the other riders. "If you'd care for a drink, follow me please?" She asks of the other riders, guesturing towards Susia to follow her and most likely help out. "If you don't find the herdbeasts satisfactory, you'll probably find the commons otherwise." Is insterted with acid tones to E'in, fuming quite readily as a smoking volcano, her son still held with gentle hands in her arms. "And please, N'andi is fine with me." Yes. "Greenrider" is annoying. Tinkith then lifts herself, stretching her wings at a slow rate. « I think we could all go for a nice sunning, yes? Mine will see that yours are nicely settled I'm sure… » Go Tink and Andi. From pissed to hosts…

Kalerriarth rumbles softly, idly flicking his tail. « You wouldn't mind if I came along, would you? » And, of course, E'in doesn't need permission. He's just so widely loved by all that it wouldn't be possible for them to exist without his constant presence. That's hwy they came up here, right? "Whatever you say, Runners." Adelle is simply ignored, and Kallie thrums softly towards Sorcha. « Mm, I won't be able to hold my promise this time around, but.. » Cough. « I'll get you next time, Sorcha! » Dr. Four-Claw. Mwuahaha. "Alright then, N'andi it is. Where to?"

Susia quickly moves to follow N'andi, a somewhat nervous glance being cast over her shoulder at the other riders. Right… so Andi wants them all in the Commons, in a /confined/ space. Well, you can bet that she'll be out of there as soon as she can. One glance at the rumbling bronze, she quickly turns around. Maybe they'll be safer inside.

The green has said the magic words, because Sorchayth is rumbling happily in that direction with a cheerful note. « I would love to have a taste of Eastern's sun. Is it nice here? » She gives her lifemate a nudge, Veia's hands trailing over the golden muzzle as she turns her attention from the greenrider and then towards the others around her. "Yes, N'andi. I apologize about the absence of my introduction.. I am Veia, Junior at Igen Weyr with Sorchayth." At least that was said. Before the pair leaves to follow in their direction, Sorcha flickers a tail towards Kalerriarth. « Now I know never to trust your promises, so I really doubt that, Kal. »

Tabeth rustles her rose-gold wings and looks wistfully at the green « The sun is not so hot in High Reaches, I would love to feel Easterns sun on my back. » Adelle turns away from E'in and smiles sunnily at N'andi "I would love that"

Justin eyes the riders, perhaps a bit untrustingly, which is quite rare for him. "Umm.." Is utterred intelligently once more as FreakBoy turns to follow N'andi, coming out of hiding, eep!

K'loh adds to the group in general- excluding E'in, of course- after Veia introduces herself, "K'loh, rider of bronze Vorshnath." Perhaps the ever-growing group is a bit too much for him, for he seems a man of few words today. "And Vei', just because you're the Junior doesn't mean you should forget to mention that you're in charge until Blythe gets back. Maybe it'll serve as a reminder for some of us." A wry look is sent to his fellow bronzerider.

Ha. Well N'andi's gone and pacified many of them with some nice words. Shows one what kindness brings you. "Tinkith, show the dragons to ledges, hmm?" The green rumbles happily, shooting up to the low skys with her wings barely flapping, going in more of a gliding action to the main clearing. « Eastern's sun is by far the best! Though saddly we do encounter many storms. » Like hurricanes which can wipe out the lights for a Hatching. "Well, well met to you all. The green there is Tinkith, and I'd be happy to show you all the commons around now.." Yesyes. Temper gone now. Don't raise it again or she might not be that happy…

Tinkith> Main Clearing

Tinkith> Tinkith lands on one of the lower ledges, still basking in the sunlight as she trills invitingly towards the other dragons to situate themselves on the ledges, leaving the best ones open for them as she settles herself over the length of the ledge, her wings still half unfurled to catch the sun, a wing drooping over the edge. « Come. Sun! »

Commons Cavern

N'andi walks into the commons, setting her son down at his usual seat in a chair meant for a little boy his size. Standing to the side, she then guestures the crowd in and to seat themselves at a table, or tables for that matter, Daren being seated at one of the larger ones, able to handle the small (cough, sure…) crowd gathered. "Now, you can tell me what you'd like, or go fetch it yourselves. And please, sit…."

Tinkith> Sorchayth gracefully circles in the sky, studying her unfamiliar surroundings as she does so. Her wings fold back, and she takes a swoop down to land upon one of the ledges where Rukbat's rays may hit her directly. She stretches out her wings, sprawling out among the warm ledge with her head soon laying across on of her forelegs. Eyes are directed towards the other Igen dragons, as if keeping a watch upon them.

Veia looks around the commons, her night eyes just glinting with curiousity. She smiles warmly towards the greenrider and seems to find herself still with the Wingsecond from her own Weyr. A glance is given around the area, attempting to find that other bronzerider around. Unfortunately, the boy is no where in sight. "Where did E'in run off to now?" She asks curiously, head tilting to one side with a thin 'brow arched. She shrugs it off, looking towards K'loh and then towards the tables. "We have to discuss what is to happen to the Mirage wing, now that there is no Wingleader." But now, she simply takes a seat and gives everyone a grateful smile.

K'loh gives N'andi a polite nod. "Do you happen to know where there's juice to be found, by any chance?" Maybe he's too lazy to take a good look around the cavern. Typical man. "Are you really grieving for his lack of presence?" he asks Veia with a wink, followed by, "Good point."

N'andi nods, looking over towards the main beverage table. Well /the/ beverage table. "We have many things, K'loh. Did you have a sort of juice in mind?" Given some of the selctions are limited - especially due to kidlets running around in the commons. "Does anyone else care for a drink?"

Don't know where E'in is? Just follow the sounds of muffled sobs. "But I make a /good/ stew!" E rolls his eyes. "Sure ya do. Fit for a tunnelsnake without a tongue. My /dragon/ could make a better stew, and he doesn't have an opposable thumb!" Young cook just stands, trembling. "Well, I'll try.. harder.. next time." "Good." More likely his next meal will have the Pernese equivalent of Ex-Lax mixed in.

K'loh waves of N'andi's offer to get drinks with a casual flip of his hand. "Sit down, ma'am. You already successfully stopped all the bickering out in the clearing; let me handle this." He saunters over to the table and glances back at the rest of the group. "What would you all like to drink?"

Susia glances over at E'in and the poor, unfortunate cook. Grimacing, she shifts slightly, hoping to stay out of sight, thus hopefully preventing her from being the focus of E'in's attitude. Shifting over to the table, she glances over at K'loh. "I can help…." Really, since its not likely N'andi's going to let her out of there without doing /something/.

Pern will never be able to survive as E'in with a bronzerider, and perhaps Veia is the only cheerful person around. "Hah, like I miss 'im one bit. The only thing I am disappointed on, is having to care for Blythe's children alone. Other than that, I hope that his bronze catches more queens /away/ from Igen so we don't have to see him." She smiles gratefully towards the other bronzerider of Igen, her head dipping down. "You are a true gentleman, K'loh. Some cidar, please?" Her eyes return towards the sound of the cook and the familiar rider. Hrm… And here it returns, and this young goldrider won't dare to make any sort of comment.

Adelle hurries into the common room shaking her head at her sisters sudden absence. Sitting down she gets a cup of fruit juice and listens to E'in berate the cook with a growing horror.

It seems as though she's done it again. Raeyne has managed to fall asleep through the turmoil noise of the throng. Unusually pale gren eyes flicker open suddenly, her vision still impaired slightly from sleep. She runs her eyes, taking out the goo that seems to form when you have your eyes shut long enough. A greeting is muttered, her sickingly sweet voice atlertered into a monotone murmur.

Justin is keeping to himself for the most part, of course, as he doesn't want to intrude or whatnot. A frown, however, crooses FreakBoy's features as the non-Eastern bronzerider berates the cook. Getting to his feet, feminine young man walks over to pat the cook's back. "If you don't like the cooking here, maybe _you_ should cook your own food." Justin's difficult to anger, but, well, when someone berates another person for trying his or her best, that's just terrible.

N'andi looks towards Raeyne and Susia, Susia more over as she sits down in a chair at K'loh's prompting. Settling Daren in her lap now, she leans over to Susia. "Grab some cidar for me? And see if they want anything else?" Is whispered to the girl, then turning her attention to Justin and the cook and E'in. Well… she'll let them settle that. Last time it turned into a little bit of an argument…

K'loh shakes his head at Susia. "It's fine, really; you don't have to." At Veia's praise, he snorts. "I'm not a gentleman, I'm simply /not/ E'in." With a wink, he pours her a glass of cider, as well as some kind of juice for himself, and carries it over. "No one else wants a beverage?"

Susia nods quickly, grabbing a mug to carefully fill it with the desired cider. Making a face as it spills slightly, she picks it up, wrapping both hands around it to carry it to Andi's table, setting it down, trying to prevent any more from spilling. Glancing at Justin and the bronzerider, a frightened look appears on her face momentarily. Here we go again. And then, its gone and she glances back at the other riders. "Um… does any one want anything else?" Please say no, then the poor girl can scamper away.

Susia returns to the table and gets herself a mug of juice before ducking back to the table to which she just delivered the cider. "Can I sit here, N'andi?" Sit down, drink, and run… Best idea she's had yet.

Justin tilts his head, as if hearing something or other. "Excuse me, Fenrith says J'em is looking for me." And the youth heads uickly out towards the exit.

N'andi grins at Susia, basically beaming up at her for the time being as she takes the cider in hand, sipping at the contents of the mug. "Thanks." Is murmured to the girl as she sets it down on the table, Daren's little hands starting to reach for it. Deflecting the hands easily she looks down at the infant/toddler cross. "Nono. That stuff isn't for you." Is told with a firm but gentle voice as she nods up to Susia. "I don't see why not…"

Susia make a face at the kidlet as she slips down into the seat, ducking her head to take a sip of her juice. Setting down the mug she follows the Greenie's example, putting it to her side away from the little boy. Murmuring a thank you, she taps her fingers lightly on the table, glancing around at the others quietly.

K'loh sighs, shaking his head. "I offered to get drinks, you know," he tells Susia with a chuckle before sitting down. "And I would have gotten you both drinks if you'd just asked."

E'in frowns as Justin leaves. Yah, that's right. You'd better run.

Veia sips from her cidar, though her eyes are trailing around the room with ears catching every sound. She glances towards fellow Igenites, a frown growing of her face as she cradles her cup in her hands, looking at her drink and then back towards the greenrider. She needs to start up something, or else she might just go mad with her own thoughts. A respectful nod goes towards K'loh, her lips back up in a smile. "Ah, and thank you." As she forgot to mention before.

N'andi grins at K'loh, still dismissing E'in from her mind. "You're a guest at the Weyr. You shouldn't have to be doing anything but enjoy yourself, you know." That's right. Give him a lecture on how to be a guest?

Gaze wandering over to K'loh, Susia nods at N'andi's 'lecture'. Pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear, Susia shakes her head. "No, really. I didn't mind…" Besides, Andi asked /her/. Not him.

K'loh chuckles and gives a friendly roll of his eyes at both N'andi and Susia. "However, it's my first visit to Eastern, and I may as well be courteous. …Plus, I feel kind of bad for you having to put up with E'in." Despite the goldrider's smile and thanks, he catches that frown. His brow furrows. "Is everything alright, Vei?"

Veia nods her head casually. "Yes, of course everything is just fine, K'loh." Though she does seems to soften towards what the bronzerider mentioned before, her head bobbing lightly. "I really would feel bad for Eastern, who weren't even prepared to have E in their Weyr. And now, here he is and there is no possible way to toss 'im back." First of all, because she won't receive him back at Igen either.
