Mighty and Resolute Toasted Bronze Treasath

Dragon Description

At first glance this dragon's coloration appears to have very little variety. The majority of his hide is the color of a high desert plateau the sun-bathed dirt appearing to have been lightly dusted on his bulky bronze frame. Parts of him have been crisped, much as a piece of bakery left in the oven for just a moment too long. His stocky forelegs have been dipped in an apple crisp, a color that extends upwards to his broad shoulders. A similar color coats his extremely muscular hindquarters, though it is a drizzling of pumpkin toast that slides off his stout neck and onto his underside, streaking his solid chest. Sweet maple splatters his wide back, falling more heavily upon his wing sails and membrane, which are almost too stout for his body. His triangular head is untouched by any of these brushes of color save for the very tip of his snout. Here a patch of chocolate smolders into his hide, echoing the dark chocolate color of short and sharp talons which extend from broad paws.

Egg Name and Description

Toppled Trees Egg

A forest scene this egg might have been, had it been a painting instead. A deep hunter green splotched with the sun-kissed hues of healthy grass cover the majority of oval, though there seems to be something off place about it. Trunks - stripes of dark and doe brown - cover the egg, the coloration of these stripes giving the egg a rough-looking texture. The stripes of brown run vertically for the most part, the apex of the egg leading to a canopy of greens, while towards the bottom of the egg, jagged edges of tan and exposed wood jar the tranquility, as other stripes lay horizontal and at funny angles.

Hatching Message

Toppled Trees Egg wobbles with a decisive moment, loosening the sands around it’s shell and then steadying as it starts to tilt at a weird, sideways angle.

Without warning the Toppled Trees Egg wobbles violently, tipping completely onto its side as it rolls madly back and forth for a few moments before a resounding *CRACK* is heard and the lines start to appear on the forest-like shell.

As the lines continue to grow upon the shell of the Toppled Trees Egg, it obviously becomes more and more unsturdy until finally the shell collapses around the hatchling within, leaving it coated with a covering of fine egg shards.

Impression Message

«Brom?» Sounds a deep voice within your mind, echo’ing in a much deeper tone than your own natural voice, accompanied by a trickling of silver rain to help cool you down from the heat of the sands. «No, no. B’rm fits you much better than that.» The silver rain lavishes your mind, expressing the immense joy he feels at finally finding a kindred spirit. «Come B’rm. Food calls to me as you have called to me and I – Treasath – must answer that need.» The rain in your mind slows to a drizzle, dagger blades piercing your mind with the intense hunger that he feels.

Mindvoice Name and Description

Shining blades of silver

The mind to this dragon is really something that isn’t to be marveled at, yet at the same time, might be one of the wonders of the world. Shining blades of silver – the mind name to Treasath – can take on any form of silver, as you would have experienced during your touchings in candidacy. The only consistency to the imagery of this dragon is that the silver that will intrude upon your mind will take the form of any sort of streak – be it blades of a sword, fence posts, blades of grass, or merely some sort of pole. Usually the type of imagery that appears in one’s mind reflects upon the dragon’s mood. If he’s happy, it’ll be more like a tickling blade of grass, or streams of silvery moonlight cascading into one’s mind. If he’s mad, it’ll be more like a honed sword piercing one’s mind repeatedly. Treasath’s mind is most just imagery, for his mind voice is only a deeper tone of your own voice. Deep and resounding, it’s the type to demand at least attention, if not respect, but it is hardly anything out of the ordinary.

Inspiration

The egg itself is based off of a tornado that has run through a forest, leaving tree's toppled and split.
The hatchling inside the egg is based off a card in a Tarot Deck, the Major Arcana - The Emperor. The emperor is a father figure to all whom come under his protection, and enforces the ideals enforced by the Empress (ruler of domestic harmony.) However, the Emperor realizes that there are some forces that no amount of good will overcome, and is not afraid to pick up his sword to defend those that he is sworn to protect.

Colors to look up are: High Plateau, Apple Crisp, Pumpkin Toast, Sweet Maple, and Melted Chocolate.

Personality (RP Tips)

For the beginning portion of Treasath’s (Tree-ah-Sath) life, it will be like dealing with a rowdy young boy who doesn’t know his own strength, considering that is exactly what a young dragon is! Treasath with try to engage in rough housing with any of the other weyrlings whether it be the gold or a little green. In the start, he’ll have an overabundance of energy, which will eventually die down .. a bit. What holds of his inspiration is still true however, and even in these young stages, the nobility of the Emperor will shine through. Should you ever find yourself in a physical scrape, the young bronze won’t hesitate to try and help. The proudness that runs through you Brom, is why Treasath loves you so, and will not let any knowing harm come to you. Your will to fight, and your strong ego call to Trea. Sometimes you’ll be able to egg Treasath into a more rash action than he’s really used to, and sometimes Trea will goad you into being a little more thoughtful before resorting to the fists and insults.
As the pair of you grow up and mature, Treasath will show more and more qualities of the Emperor’s card openly. He’ll father you a little more, taking on some of the example from your uncle and father – the two lumberjacks. He’ll scold you if you need it, and even give you a fairly hardy mental cuff, should you be acting really dense in his faceted eyes. There will be multiple Empresses for this bronze, as he will see ALL golds as a force to be taken seriously when he comes of flying age. But just because he’ll heed the wills of the queens, doesn’t mean he’ll act without his talons. Treasath will rejoice in hunting activities you might partake in, reveling in the bloodshed of beasts. However you will never have to worry about losing Treasath to bloodlust, except for when he’s chasing a gold. As always then, a dragon needs to be controlled and watched carefully. He’ll also take after you in your charming ways of being a ladies man, but he has no reserves about who he flies. Eventually, he might develop a preference for a certain gold, but trust me, it will be a gold instead of a green. The pair of you together might be enough to make a Weyr tremble, between the two enormous egos, the lack of hesitation to use force, the verbal lashings you both can give people, and even merely the physical size of both dragon and rider. On that note, yes Treasath IS a smaller bronze, but his hefty, muscular stature makes up for that one deficiency. (As Mianyi said to me: Think Napoleon.)
What Treasath will become during flights is completely up to you, Brom. The bronze isn’t so extreme on any one end that he might swing to the other on the verge of bloodlust and lust for the lady rising. He might be a little more of a smoocher and smooth talker, or maybe he’ll become more violent and aggressive. It is truly unknown, and maybe it will vary every time he flies.
