Dragon Description
Mother nature spares no one in her perfect design. She envelops this darn in the darkest hunter green, but she is far from simple. Shocking chartreuse illuminates this youthful dragon’s face, running along the slender lines of her narrow jaws and ending just under her eye ridges. The same brilliant hues engulf her short tapered tail and form a saddle upon her shoulders, creating a sharp contrast that glows amongst darkness. Metallic turquoise and vibrant hues shimmer across wing-spars and neck ridges, trickling down the muscular hind quarters of her small compact body. The color vanishes not long after, hidden behind the bright circle of frosted mint that covers her shapely rump. Her limbs are long and lanky, making this alluring female stand taller than most. Deep green bleeds downwards, fading to obsidian as it adorns each slender talon..but even those shadows cannot hide the razor sharp danger there. Wing sails are not forgotten by nature: an ombre of sea green envelops her gaudy form, hues blending from dark to light with each graceful sweep. The finishing touch to this legendary creature are the flawless rings of emerald green circling her unusually large eyes.
Egg Name and Description
And Away! Egg
Vibrant blues and rosy hues intermingle with tangerine patches and minty greens to form a cluster of brilliant dyes that engulf the shell of this innocent ovoid form. Sunshine and violets join the fray, the shades scattered each in a spherical foray. As if bound by some invisible force the brightly colored globes press together, vying for attention as they are drawn skywards. Flecks of silver shine through the gaps, glimmering gently each time light taps upon this smooth glossy surface. One little patch - a lonely speck of out of place yet perfectly shaped square of sand, calls this egg home. The final finishing touch: a flawless stream of rich, flowing milk chocolate that pools at at the wide base of this iridescent shell.
Hatching Message
WOBBLE_MESS: And Away! Egg does a little wibble, then it does a little wobble in the sands before it abruptly stops and holds still. You didn't see that.
CRACK_MESS: And Away! Egg begins to vibrate, subtly at first before rocking hard against it's neighboring clutchmate, sending a single long crack around the circumference of it's shell. It trembles a little, then slowly comes to a stop once more.
HATCH_MESS: Spintered pieces fly through the air as And Away! Egg erupts, sending shards scattering across the hatching sands as an egg-wet hatchling springs forth and stands tall once it finds it's footing… with a piece of shell over it's head. Oops.

Spirit of Adventure Hatchling
Awkward in movements, this oddly proportioned dragonet takes long staggering steps from it's shattered shell. Eggwet, it's compact frame is covered in sand and shards, masking it's appearance as through it stepped out of Pern's prehistoric history for the first time in ages. It holds it's little head up high with a long neck, fluttering tightly folded wings while it peers at every single white robed thing on the sands with the look of 'feed or flee'. Disproportionately long limbs give it a long stride, while a short tail twitches in suspicion.
Impression Message
The sweltering heat of the sands is there one moment and gone the next. The ground beneath you begins to grow smaller and smaller as you're drawn upwards into the vast expanse of a cloudy sky. You're dropped carefully onto a cloud, which /doesn't/ give way to leave you plummeting downwards… thankfully. The soft fluff beneath your feet may be distracting, but soon something else calls for attention. A quiet chirrup is all the warning you receive before you find yourself flat on your back with a slender face staring down at you. « It's you! It's you! It's really you! » A cool forehead presses against you, forcing your gaze to meet swirling orbs of blue and green. « My Aisa…» These two words reverberate through your entire body, as if pure love was flowing through every nerve and blood vessel. « My name is Eileth… we have just met, and I absolutely adore you! » Enthusiasm fills the voice that invades your thoughts but an overzealous nuzzle to your cheeks confirms that this is no figment of your imagination. The cloudy landscape begins to disappear as does the pressure on your chest until the heated sands are searing your back once more. « Onwards, to adventure…and FOOD! »

Are You In Need of Any Assistance?
Massive cliffs soar upwards, set against the backdrop of clear blue skies and a lush green jungle carpet. More of these flat plateaus are found in the distance, but it is this first that holds the most wonder. Water gushes over the edge, falling from towering heights and dissolving into cool mists before hitting the pool below A pleasant breeze fills the air, clear skies and shimmering water creating a dull roar during times of content and happiness. However, storms threaten the peaceful mindscape as turmoil stirs within the heart. Thunder, lightning, ominous gray clouds… They come together in a fearsome trilogy that's mirrored by the screaming waterfall.
Mind Touches:
MT-1: Are you in Need of any Assistance? appears at the doors to your mind, rapping on it forcefully. You barely find a moment to register before the rapping begins and the being suddenly pushes its way inside. It tumbles face first, falling amongst a pile of your memories that are suddenly thrown up in the air and scattered before your eyes. Oh! Rather than apologizing, it snatches one from the air and then another. Your happiest moments play before your eyes as it begins to rifle through them one by one…this one! This one! It thrusts the memory in front of you, your first friend, your first pet, the first person outside of your family you held dear. What happened to them? Where are they now? The curious mind probes for answers, but before you can answer it's gone with a loud pop and burst of shimmering colors.
MT-2: Are you in Need of any Assistance? raps at your door once more, asking if it may come inside first this time. Whether the answer is yes or no though, it apparently won’t be leaving. There are far too many interesting things in here, it can’t just walk away from them! A small rectangular bar wrapped in silvery foil is tossed your way, some kind of food perhaps? The sweet treat inside is some small attempt to keep you occupied as it continues to rifle through things. Before you can stop it, your most painful memory is brought to light. That time you broke your arm, that one cold that simply wouldn’t disappear….it’s suddenly thrust to the forefront of your mind, forcing those same miserable sensations on you once more. The being, small round and now a vibrant mix of yellow and orange, wavers uncertainly. It…it didn’t mean to! It begins to tremor and fade, tiny popping sounds accompanying it as it hastily retreats.
MT-3: Are you in Need of any Assistance? approaches timidly this time, gently pushing open the door to your being. Are…are you alright? It’s sorry, it really is. Can you forgive it? The bright colors are dulled now and as it steps through your memories, it does so carefully. The being winds through the library of your mind, weaving among the stacks until it finally arrives at what it has been searching for this entire time. It enjoyed the memories that brought you happiness and feared the ones that brought you pain, but this….this memory, this time when you were brought to the breaking point, when sobbing couldn’t begin to convey how much you hurt inside, when you felt like you couldn’t move on…this is the memory that it watches. The scene unfolds before you, drawing you into those emotions once more. Just then, at that moment where you find yourself almost fully immersed in that heartache, you feel several warm droplets on your shoulder. Tears, but not your own. A toasty glow envelops you, drawing you away from that sorrow and flooding you affection. Are you in need of any assistance?
Inspiration
The theme this year is food in entertainment. And Away! Egg is based off of Pixar's UP. Eileth's appearance is based off of a combination of the movie's character Kevin and the bird she was modeled after: the male Himalayan Monal Pheasant for Eileth's flashy hues. Her personality is a lovely combination of the grumpy Carl, adventurous Russel and loyal Dug. Her name, Eileth, was derived from Carl's soulmate and motivation for going on the biggest adventure of his life: Ellie. It was her spirit that inspired Carl to dream big and chase those dreams as far as he could go. Your lovely lifemate is yours to play as you see fit. Mastermined by the awesomeness that is Reya and R'sian.
Personality (RP Tips)
In the beginning, life with Eileth will perhaps be what Aisa was dreading when she thought of Impressing. The green is a ball of energy, constantly moving about and filled with the need to explore. Beneath that explosive personality however, there is a love so deep that the bond between many other dragons and riders will pale in comparison. The world in which Aanisah found herself adrift will never be the same, because Eileth will always be her home.
"Adventure is out there!"
Eileth has a thirst for exploration and nothing you do can keep her from it. Everything comes second to galavanting about, whether that be food, baths, or even sleep. Your green will go anywhere she can fit, which might be especially troublesome when she's a baby. That dragon in the kitchens? Eileth. That dragon in the hot springs? Eileth. That dragon in the storage caverns? Eileth. You may be able to physically stop her when she's small, but that won't keep her from wandering off while you sleep!
As she grows older, that same thirst for discovery will continue…but her scope will expand. There's so much beyond Monaco, so many Holds, Weyrs, Crafter Halls, and even a few undiscovered islands in the middle of that vast ocean. Once they learn to fly and *between* it will be all you can do to keep her there. She will take you farther than you've ever been and perhaps farther than you've ever /wanted/ to go. Eileth shall show you the wonders that Pern has to offer, and with her help the world is yours to take.

In many ways, your green will be a rather bad influence on you. She'll encourage you to get into trouble, and she'll do the same for her clutchsibs too. She enjoys playing pranks and given the opportunity she'll have you join in as well. That AWLM that annoys her so much? Time to steal his underwear and string it up in the caverns! That sibling getting on her nerves? Time to sprinkle itching powder in their wallow. And danger? Eileth is all for danger (as long as it isn't /too/ life threatening). She'll encourage you to try things such as cliff diving, or dragon jumping…anything that will provide an adrenaline rush really. After all, you have nothing to fear…not when she's there! Because no matter what the situation, Eileth will /always/ be there to catch you when you fall.

Exploration isn't Eileth's only passion. The green has a loving heart and cares for her Weyr and its residents deeply. She'll go out of her way to offer assistance, whether they like it or not. No matter how small the task or how large, she'll be there to help. It may end up in an absolute disaster but the green meant well! Unfortunately for you, this is something she'll never grow out of.
"Ahhhh! I'm tired! And my knee hurts!"
"Which knee?"
"…My elbow hurts and I have to go to the bathroom!"
Eileth will have all the energy in the world…for everything but classes. You'll have a constant stream of complaints (often completely ridiculous) once the first 10 minutes have passed and it won't end until she's either given a break or something 'fun' to do. Lectures are the worst and strengthening exercises merely tolerable. What she wants is FUN. She'll be a disruption in class, constantly attempting to goad her siblings into games of some sort or completely tuning out in favor of daydreaming. Being strict won't help at all either. She may sulk for a minute or two, but the complaints will start again not too long afterwards. But when she /does/ find something interesting? Nothing can take her attention away. Hunting, flying, going *Between*…these are the sorts of classes she'll actually pay attention in.
Her lacking attention span won't mean she'll be at the bottom of the class though. In fact, she'll be quite near the top. She has a better memory than most dragons and it'll only take seeing something once or twice for her to learn it. Flying will come naturally to Eileth, as will going *between*. Your girl was born to fly and she'll be quite agile, maneuvering with ease and gliding with grace. Simply flying won't do however. Spirals, dives, loops… She'll learn every aerial trick there is out there and perhaps create some of her own. In fact, she may be a little /too/ enthusiastic about how well she's doing and strain her wings in the process. The pair of you will become /quite/ familiar with the dragon healers in the future.
"You don't talk much… I like you!"
As sweet as Eileth is, she'll become an absolute grump when she begins to glow. All the grumping she usually replies to with sweetness will instead be countered with sourness. She'll have little patience, especially for the males that follow her around. Her flights will be a wonder to behold however: a true spectacle. It's not her suitors' words that will impress her. In fact, that sort of thing will annoy her to no end. It's their actions. Can they keep up with her stunts? Match up to the beauty of her flight? Can they awe her?
"I am nobody's master, got it? I don't want you here!" Carl
Eileth may have an affinity for humans, but other animals have an affinity for her. Flits, runners, ovines, canines, any animal really, will be drawn to her. She'll be surrounded by them and they'll often follow her home… Much to her annoyance. She'll never injure domestic creatures, though she'll snap at them in annoyance and attempt to shoo them away. No matter how much she tries to make them fear her however, it never seems to work.
Eileth will have some small revenge when she hunts however. All the pent up frustration when dealing with her unwanted menagerie will be taken out on the herd beasts. She'll be cruel, vicious even. Instead of a clean snap of the neck, there will be a violent mauling. Bones will be crushed, internal organs pulled out, and blood sprayed in every direction. She'll likely need a bath after /every/ feeding… Though walking around spattered with sanguine fluid might earn an amusing reaction!
Meat isn't the only thing she likes. Human food has a certain draw for her. She'll want to try everything you're eating whether that be bread or vegetables. Eileth will even want to try drinks (alcohol included). Sweets will be her one true weakness however. Bubblies, cakes, cookies… She'd eat nothing but those if she could!
"I have just met you and I love you!" Dug
Love love love. Beneath all of her quirks that is Eileth's true essence. No matter what sort of stubbornness you throw at her, no matter how angry you are at her, no matter what happens in the future she will always love you. The whole world may be against you, but she'll stand by your side no matter what. You are her everything and always will be. So throw your worst at her. Show her the sides you would never show any one else because it won't matter. She is yours forever, and you are hers.
